We are currently looking for a Water and Energy Education Intern!

As a Water and Energy Education Intern, you will be trained in teaching K-12 classroom lessons and leading field trips on environmental topics, including:

• Our local water and energy systems
• Climate change
• Water and energy conservation
• Storm drain pollution
• Water quality for endangered salmon
• Assist with administrative tasks to support education programs 

Ideal candidate has a strong interest in working with diverse youth populations and in environmental education.

Bilingual Spanish skills and cross-cultural competence are desirable.

Salary $23.30- $25.30 depending on experience. Approximately 20 - 30 hrs per week. CA driver license preferred.

We are currently looking for a Finance Intern!

We are hiring an intern for Sanitation Rate Relief Program (SRRP). This program offers a discount on Sewer Service Charges for low-income owner-occupied homes and for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that provide housing to low-income renters. The primary function of this intern position is to assist with the application process of SRRP including, but not limited to, collecting applications, communicating with customers, data entry, filling and general coordination. 

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Customer service skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in person and in writing.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a good work ethic.
• Availability from mid April through July

What you will learn:

• Experience in our sanitation relief program
• Knowledge of local government/utility finance procedures

Salary $23.30- $25.30 depending on experience.
